Checking Fixture Cup holder DTI

Checking Fixture Cup Holder

This checking fixture is used in the Alfa Romeo car project in Germany. The fixture holds the cup holder of the car. And through an integrated dial gauge and the Computer Measuring Machine, controls the dimensions of the cupholder.

The maximum weight of the checking fixture is 25 kg. A base plate material made of Dural aluminium, which cannot be grinding process, so it must be full machining.

Manual Checking Fixture

This project focuses on the development of a manual checking fixture system designed to verify the alignment of hole coordinates and product geometry. This tool offers an effective solution for inspection processes on production lines that require accuracy but do not necessitate automation. This Checking Fixture was manufactured for one of the automotive companies in Indonesia.

The challenge in this project was to design a fixture that remains ergonomic and accurate despite the entirely manual process. We addressed this by using precision locators and flexible guide systems, enabling the operator to perform checks quickly and accurately.

This project was carried out for a customer in Indonesia.

Pneumatic Checking Fixture

This project involves the development of a checking fixture designed to verify the accuracy of hole coordinates and the geometry of a manufactured product. The tool is engineered to ensure that the product meets high-quality standards, especially for parts that require high precision. This Checking Fixture was manufactured for one of the automotive companies in Indonesia.

The main challenge in this project was configuring the pneumatic system to operate stably in line with the precision demands of the product. We overcame this by integrating components and designs specifically tailored to the requirements.

This project was carried out for a customer in Indonesia.

Welding Jig For Automotive DTI

Welding Jig for Automotive

This project involves the development of a dedicated welding jig for the welding process of automotive components. The jig functions as a holder and positioner for components before and during welding. Its design emphasizes accuracy, process efficiency, and consistency in weld quality. Our scope of work includes developing the welding jig modification concept, modeling, drafting, and manufacturing.

The key challenge was ensuring repeatability of the welding position, especially due to dimensional variations from different suppliers. We resolved this by implementing an adjustable locator and stopper system that can be easily recalibrated.

This project was carried out for a customer in Indonesia.

Integrated Conveyor System

Integrated Conveyor System

In 2021, DTI received a Special Purpose Machine project from one of the largest home appliance companies in East Java, Indonesia.
DTI provided end-to-end support starting from concept design and continuing through installation. We also contributed by training the operators to properly handle and maintain the conveyor system.

The project involved developing an integrated conveyor system to support mass production, transporting products from injection machines to the Quality Control (QC) area. The conveyor was designed to manage product flow from multiple injection machines simultaneously, ensuring smooth operations without bottlenecks or product collisions even when sharing the same path.

With various configurations such as inclining conveyors, angled conveyors, and linear conveyors, the system optimizes factory space and streamlines workflow within a unified production plan. This project reflects DTI’s commitment to improving efficiency and stability in internal logistics systems.

One of the main challenges was synchronizing multiple machines within a single conveyor network. To address this, DTI implemented a PLC-based control system capable of real-time speed and direction adjustments based on product sensor data.

The implementation of this system resulted in a 30% increase in production flow efficiency and significantly reduced downtime caused by product queuing. This achievement has made a meaningful contribution to boosting our client’s productivity and ensuring smoother production processes overall.

Radar Antena DTI

RADAR ANTENNA

The design mechanism of the radar antenna is the results of DTI engineering development based on orders from the Indonesian Navy. The level of accuracy can minimize the backless effect of the antenna rotation along with the very smooth rotation movements when controlled.

We designed it so that it can provide maximum support for the accuracy level of Indonesia's superior radar function.

Radom with a thickness of 2 mm that is distributed evenly along 1.8 m supports the radar range function up to 64 km.

Train Chair Test Equipment

Train Chair Test Equipment

This test equipment is one of the Special Purpose Machine projects developed by DTI.

For DTI’s commitment to creating precise and valuable tools, the project began with a survey and analysis of the existing train seats. From there, DTI carried out the engineering design process, starting from concepting, modelling, and drafting. During this process, DTI also conducted FEM analysis, and the results were developed into a real product.

The test equipment is designed to perform pressure tests on several train seat positions, including the backrest, armrest, sitting area, and pillow.

This project applied FEM analysis for the hollow frame structure. The test tool operates with a pneumatic system, and to improve accuracy, a load cell was integrated.

The testing is conducted based on the following standards:

  • APTA PR-CS-016-99
  • BS EN 12663-1-2010 + A1-2014
  • UIC 567

This project was carried out for one of DTI’s customers in Indonesia.

Exoskeleton DTI

EXOSKELETON

The exoskeleton is the external skeleton that supports and protects a human body. It's a kind of suit from metal (or other material) frameworks fitted with motorized “muscles” that can multiply the wearer's strength. The function of this exoskeleton is to help seniors to stand tall, and carry out daily activities without extra effort.

In this project, DTI collaborates with one of the universities in Sweden. DTI developed this exoskeleton prototype starting from the design process to manufacturing so that it can function property.

QBLAT Compas DTI

QBLAT Compass

QBLAT Compass is one of our innovative products with the trademark Dino Product which is registered in the Indonesian patent.

Functions as a simple tool that helps show the Qibla direction of prayer, with a practical keychain shape.

This product is able to show the Qibla direction in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei (1st version) and to show the Qibla direction from all over the world (2nd version).

Electric Plugs Mold

Electric Plugs Mold

An Electric Plug is a connector that can be inserted into an electric socket or a power source. It has a type of male, mainly coated with brass and often with tin or nickel, which is directly related to the source of electricity.

Electric plugs mold is a mold that is used for plastic injection machines using PP (polypropylene) material. This mold is designed for 8 cavities, consisting of 4 cavities for the body plugs and 4 cavities for the clamp. Designed using a slider system and there are inserts on the cavity and core.

This project was carried out for one of DTI’s customers in Indonesia.

Lifting and Pressing Machine

Lifting and Pressing Machine

This machine is used to lift the chocolate dough and press it into the extruder. Our customers need a machine modification design that can change the already running manual system to make their job easier. Our customers send us data i.e. real videos of existing machines and ask us to realize their idea.

DTI's scope of work is to create 3D models of machines and implement them in animated videos based on digital data from the customer in Croatia.

Sculpture Animation

Not only working on technical drawings, but DTI has also proven its ability in graphic design. Sculpture Animation is DTI's first graphic design project from customer in Canada. DTI is creating of animated videos from modified customer sculpture models.

DTI's scope of work is to modify concepts and implement them into animated videos. DTI strives to realize customer ideas in storyboards that are made by considering the aesthetic, functional, and customer standards.
